Kemas buku, Cancer, Chemotherapy story.

Annyeong! Petang petang ni semua mesti tengah minum petang, makan cokodok mak, kan? Kan? Aku? Aku duk mengemas buku buku aku yang dah agak lama jugalah kat dalam kotak rahsia tu. Hee. Masa tengah khusyuk mengemas, suddenly aku terjumpalah buku buku, kertas kertas pasal cancer. Aku pun bacalah. Emm, dah habis baca. Memandangkan dah takde idea nak tulis ape, terasa pulak nak kongsi nie dengan kawan kawan yang membaca blog aku ni. (tu pun kalau ada)..

Apa tu kanser?

Ceritanya begini..............

This is Aliza. She is just like you! She loves plating with her friends, going to school and doing fun things with her family.
Today, Aliza’s doctor wants her to start a special type of medicine called Chemotherapy, which will help her feel better. But Aliza doesn’t know what Chemotherapy is. Her ma and pa and her doctor have told her that she can ask them questions any time she wants, as you can too! Aliza has cancer and that’s one of that’s one of the things she really doesn’t like! So, Aliza ask her father to explain.
“It’s hard to explain, Aliza” Pa said. “would you like me to tell you a story about it so you can understand it better?” Aliza loves stories! So she says, “Yes please!”
Pa pointed outside to the jungle at the back of the kampong. “You know all about the big elephants that stay out there in the jungle?” Aliza nodded. She loved elephants. “Well” said Pa “I’m going to tell you a story about a special elephant. His name is Chemophant.”

“Chemophant is a special grey elephant that helps children to get better. He has big ears and massive feet. He walks all around inside your body. But first, let me tell you a little about the cells in your body and how they work. Then you can see how Chemophant really does is job.”
“Have you ever made a tower out of building blocks? Well, your body is just like that towerand the building blocks are like the cells in your body! There are millions of cells in the body. Each cells has a different job, and they are all very good at what they do. Some cells make your hair grow, some take care of your skin, and some give you energy so that you can do the things you like to do.”

“When you have cancer, some of your cells don’t feel too good. They can’t do their job properly so they become bad cells. You need chemophant to help get rid of these bad cells. Maybe you can think of good cells as nice pink round cells and your bad cells are red cells. When you have cancer, some yucky red cells try to eat up your good pink cells. This is what can sometimes make you feel bad. Chemophant doesn’t like that so he walks inside your body and squashes all the bad cells with his massive feet. Chemophant uses his giant feet to squash them flat so that you can feel better soon. The chemophant is very strong so no matter how many red cells he squashes, he can keep on walking.”
“It took a long time for doctors to find a special medicine like chemophant. They are happy they found him because he helps to make people who have cancer get better.”

“But chemophant has one problem….. his BIG feet. Because chemophant’s feet are so big, they sometimes step on the good pink cells by accident. He doesn’t mean to do this but he just can’t help it! The doctors called these accidents ‘side effect’. That’s why you sometimes don’t feel too good when you have this medicine. Your doctor, or ma and I, might tell you about it. If chemophant accidently steps on the cells that help your hair grow, then your hair might fall out. If he steps on the cells that give you energy, you might start to feel tired. That’s why you need to rest, to give your good pink cells a chance to feel better too. And when they feel better, you feel better.”

“It’s OKE though, because the pink cells are a lot stronger than the yucky red ones! That means that they recover and feel better. Then your hair starts to grow back and you start to feel more energetic. You can go back to school, play with your friends and do all your favorite things again.”
“If you feel sad or lonely when you’re feeling sick, you can always talk to your ma and me. We love you more than anything in the whole world and we want to help you get better too. So does chemophant!”

“Doctors know that having chemotheraphy can make you feel sick and the side effects can make you feel bad. That’s why they are looking for new and better elephants! They are hoping to find an elephant that has smaller feet. Well, doctors are hoping to find a big grey elephant with small feet that will step on your bad cells but keep your good cells feeling good.”

“When all the bad red cells are gone, chemophant leaves your body with a wave of his trunk. It’s his way of saying “GOODBYE” and telling you that you are all better now.”
“Do you understand now?” says Aliza’s pa. She thought for a minute and said, “Yes pa, I think I do. Even though sometimes the chemophant makes me feels yucky by stomping on the good pink cells by accident, he is very sorry because he doesn’t mean to! And whenever I get sad, I can always give you or ma a hug to make me feel better.”
“Exactly” says her pa. Then he gives her a big hug and kiss, and she feels better already!

How? Sakit tau. So, eloklah kite mencegah daripada mengubati.
9. Boleh jugak dapatkan vaccine
- Hep B virus = kanser hati
- Human Papillomavirus = kanser servik

juz nak share je, kalau salah tolong betulkan.
oke la, bubye.
